| الوصف: | One of the most common forms of maxillofacial trauma is fractures of the zygomatic orbital complex (SOC). They occupy the second place after fractures of the lower jaw and the first among the injuries of the middle zone of the face of the NWL. The highest percentage of fractures of the orbital walls up to 64% is observed in injuries of the eye, which in 48% of cases are accompanied by injuries of the eyeball (wounds, contusions). Injuries to the walls of the maxillary sinuses are diagnosed in 29-58.7% of zygomatic-ocular-maxillary fractures (SGVCHP), which account for 40 to 80% of injuries of the SPL. According to D.A. Trunina (2001) the maxillary sinus is damaged in 100% of fractures of the upper jaw and in 29-95% of cases with CVD. In order to assess the etiological factor, the frequency and structure of fractures of the SOC, as well as treatment methods, the article presents the results of monitoring a study of 1,464 patients, 1,234 of whom underwent inpatient treatment in the period from 2010 to 2019 in the department of maxillofacial surgery of the Tashkent State Dental Institute (TSSI), as well as data from 230 outpatient records of patients who applied to the consultative polyclinic of the multidisciplinary clinic of the Tashkent Medical Academy (TMA) in the period from 2015 to 2019. |
