The Orkhun Inscriptions, which are extremely important in terms of Turkish culture and civilization, consist of Köl Tigin, Bilge Kagan and Bilge Tonyukuk Inscriptions that were erected during the II Köktürk Kaganate. The Orkhun Inscriptions, which contain valuable information regarding the military and the political history of the Turkish nation, also carries important information to our day regarding the values system that the Turkish people had developed until the 8th century CE. In this study "A Study on the Comprehention Level of the Candidate Lecturers Regarding the Social Values on the Orkhun Inscriptions", it was aimed to determine how the values set on the Orkhun Inscriptions were conceived by the candidate teachers. In this study, where "Demonstration method" and "document examining methods" were used, poll papers were used as the data collecting media. In the preparation process of the poll papers, the values on the Orkhun Inscriptions were listed, and the five choise type format was set. The polls that conduct the reliability and the validity research were applied on the candidate teachers and the obtained values were evaluated. At the result of the data analysis, it is determined that the opinions of the candidate teachers regarding the values did not differ as per the differences in their gender and region; and the values of justice, honosty and patriotizm were favoured as much more important. Türk kültür ve uygarlığı açısından son derece önemli olan Orhun yazıtları, II. Köktürk Kağanlığı döneminde diktirilmiş Köl Tigin, Bilge Kağan ve Bilge Tonyukuk yazıtlarından oluşmaktadır. Türk milletinin askerî ve siyasî tarihi hakkında değerli bilgiler içeren Orhun yazıtları, Türk halkının VIII. yüzyıla kadar geliştirdiği değer sistemi konusunda da günümüze önemli bilgiler taşımaktadır. "Orhun Yazıtlanndaki Toplumsal Değerlerin Öğretmen Adayları Tarafından Algılanma Düzeyi Üzerine Bir İnceleme" adlı bu çalışmayla, Orhun yazıtlarında yer alan değerlerin öğretmen adayları tarafından nasıl algılandığı belirlenmek istenmiştir. "Betimsel yöntem" ve "doküman incelemesi yöntemleri"nin kullanıldığı araştırmada, veri toplama aracı olarak da anket formu kullanılmıştır. Anket formunun geliştirilmesi sürecinde Orhun yazıtlarında yer alan değerler listelenmiş ve daha sonra beşli likert tipinde anket formu hazırlanmıştır. Güvenirlik ve geçerlilik çalışması yapılan anket formu öğretmen adaylarına uygulanmış ve elde edilen veriler değerlendirilmiştir. Verilerin analizi sonucunda cinsiyet ve bölge değişkenlerine göre öğretmen adaylarının değerlere ilişkin görüşlerinin çok fazla farklılaşmadığı, adalet, doğruluk ve vatanperverlik değerlerinin ise öğretmen adayları tarafından diğer değerlerden daha önemli görüldüğü tespit edilmiştir.
