| الوصف: | Resumen Objetivo. Contribuir al conocimiento taxonómico y distribución de los odonatos en el departamento del Chocó y en Colombia. Alcance. Presentar un registro preliminar sobre la riqueza y distribución del orden Odonata (Insecta) en el departamento del Chocó, Colombia. Metodología. Se revisaron especímenes del orden Odonata depositados en la Colección Limnológica del Chocó, CLCH-Insec (Universidad Tecnológica del Chocó), recolectados entre 2004 y 2019. Principales resultados. Se contabilizan 1344 individuos, correspondientes a 11 familias y 29 géneros, asociados a 97 corrientes hídricas de diferente orden y 18 ecosistemas lénticos de las cuencas de los ríos Atrato, San Juan y Baudó, ubicados en 20 municipios del departamento. Coenagrionidae es la familia más abundante y Libellulidae la de mayor distribución; mientras que Gomphidae exhibe la mayor riqueza genérica. Los géneros Coryphaeschna, Aeschnosoma, Aphylla, Ophiogomphus, Erpetogomphus, Orthemis, Telebasis, Acanthagrion y Heteropodagrion son nuevos registros para el departamento del Chocó. La mayor riqueza taxonómica se encuentra en la cuenca del río Atrato, seguida del San Juan y Baudó. El sustrato piedra es el de mayor riqueza específica. Conclusiones. Se establece el primer inventario preliminar de la riqueza genérica y distribución del orden Odonata en el departamento del Chocó, que permitió evidenciar la diversidad del orden en la región. Abstract Objective. To contribute to the taxonomic knowledge and distribution of Odonates in the Department of Chocó and in Colombia. Scope. To present a preliminary record on the richness and distribution of the order Odonata (Insecta) in the Department of Chocó, Colombia. Methodology. Specimens of the order Odonata deposited in the Choco Limnological Collection, CLCH-Insec (Universidad Tecnologica del Chocó), collected between 2004 and 2019 were reviewed. Main results. A total of 1,344 individuals were counted corresponding to 11 families and 29 genera, associated with 97 water currents of different order and 18 lentic ecosystems of the Atrato, San Juan and Baudó river basins located in 20 municipalities of the Department of Choco. Coenagrionidae is the most abundant family and Libellulidae the one with the largest distribution while Gomphidae exhibits the greatest generic richness. The genera Coryphaeschna, Aeschnosoma, Aphylla, Ophiogomphus, Erpetogomphus, Orthemis, Telebasis, Acanthagrion and Heteropodagrion are new records for the department of Chocó. The greatest taxonomic richness is found in the Atrato river basin, followed by San Juan and Baudó. The stone substrate is the one with the highest specific richness. Conclusions. The first preliminary inventory of the generic richness and distribution of the order Odonata in the department of Chocó is established, which made it possible to demonstrate the diversity of the order in the region. |
