الوصف: Harmonic and fundamental imaging techniques were directly compared in 20 patients undergoing intravenous contrast echocardiography for enhancement of left ventricular endocardial border definition. Harmonic imaging demonstrated significantly enhanced left ventricular endocardial border detection and improved the duration and intensity of a contrast effect despite a reduced dosing requirement.
