| الوصف: | M.Phil. ; With a focus on migrant Filipina same-sex couples in Hong Kong, this research analyzes the complex intersections between migration and non-normative female sexualities. Drawing on established scholarship of ‘queer migration’ and ethnographic fieldwork over a year, I explore three questions: First, how are gender and sexual subjectivities produced/changed/maintained in same-sex intimate relationships for migrant Filipina workers?; Second, how does migration facilitate alternative understandings and imaginations of ‘love’, ‘pleasure’ and ‘self’?; last but not least, what are the implications and effects of these relationships in broader social, cultural and political dimensions? My research shows that, ‘gender’ and ‘sexuality’ intersect with migration in dynamic and complex ways, giving birth to brand new individuals subjectivities while strengthening some other social norms concerning gender. Bearing in mind various forms of precarity and new opportunities that migrant women workers experience, this thesis pays special attention to the contingency of love. ‘Contingency’ - the zone of uncertainty scattered around what is ‘changeable’ and what is ‘fixed,’ ‘virtual’ and ‘real,’ geographical distance and different time zones - is a crucial enabling condition for the fluidity and malleability of alternative gender and sexual desires that needs to be recognized in ‘queer migration.’ ; 本研究以香港移民社區中的菲律賓籍女性同性伴侶為討論對象，旨在探索移民與非正統女性情欲之間的複雜關聯。在早期的“酷兒移民”研究基礎上，筆者經過一年多的人類學田野調查，意在對以下三個問題進行討論：首先，同性親密關係如何創造、改變及延續女性移工的性別及性主體性；其次，移民流動如何促成她們對“愛”、“愉悅”與“自我”的別樣理解及想像；再次，這些同性親密關係在社會、文化及政治層面會帶來的影響。我的研究發現，在移工群體內，性別、情欲與移工身份之間維持著活躍與複雜的關聯，這些互動一方面賦予了移工個體全新的主體性，另一方面亦強化了既有的社會性別規範。有鑒於移民工女性所須承受的種種動盪與可能得到的全新機遇，本文特別以“愛的偶發性”作為討論的關鍵。“偶發性”旨在說明介於可變與不變、虛幻與真實、時空差異中的不確定空間，正是這一空間令移工群體的非正統性別與情欲變得可塑，從而為“酷兒移民”研究帶來新的討論路徑。 ; Duan, Yimin. ; Thesis M.Phil.
