| الوصف: | The completion of course work is the result of a theoretical and methodological approach to historical, theoretical and methodological foundations of Social Work, its socio-historical determinations and the challenges to vocational training throughout history. In the late 1990s, social assistance policy is to constitute the main coping alternative to harmful expressions of social issues in line with the expansion of vocational training in teaching modality of distance learning (ODL). From very early so we tried to discuss the relationship, since it runs the risk of confusing the intervention of the profession with the operation of the welfare policy, which would require greater insights and successive approximations to understand this process. The object of study was chosen from the supervised internship experience of academic within the CADÚNICO, it was conducted through a literature review and observation. The study emphasizes the importance of a qualified training, and seeks to show the need to have within one CADÚNICO professional social service work committed with the enforcement of user rights. ; O trabalho de conclusão de curso é fruto de uma aproximação teórico-metodológica aos fundamentos históricos, teóricos e metodológicos do Serviço Social, suas determinações sócio-históricas e os desafios colocados à formação profissional ao longo da história. No final dos anos 1990, a política de assistência social passa a se constituir na principal alternativa de enfrentamento às expressões deletérias da questão social em consonância com a expansão da formação profissional na modalidade de ensino à distância (EAD). De maneira bastante inicial procurou-se problematizar essa relação, já que corre-se o risco de confundir a intervenção da profissão com a operacionalização da política de assistência, o que demandaria maiores aprofundamentos e aproximações sucessivas para entender esse processo.
