الوصف: This paper is an in-depth study that starts from a preliminary one, where we surveyed 141 ranchers from the town of Coto-Coto in Peru to obtain as much information as possible about the relationship between two economic variables, Activity Cost and Financial Management. Furthermore, we study the correlation of the first one of them with three other economic variables. To do this, we process the survey data using logical operators with the support of the plithogenic statistics theory. These results given in the form of plithogenic values are logically aggregated and were converted to crisp values and studied through the use of statistical tools, specifically Kendall's Tau b. The study of economic variables within the field of cattle farming is of great importance because it allows us to improve the productivity of this economic sector, which is also part of the most accepted human diet worldwide. A substantial advantage in the use of plithogeny is that linguistic values that are more natural for livestock farmers were processed, in addition, uncertainty and indeterminacy were taken into account by the use of neutrosophic numbers.

الوصف: Abstract Autoencoders are frequently used to embed molecules for training of downstream deep learning models. However, evaluation of the chemical information quality in the latent spaces is lacking and the model architectures are often arbitrarily chosen. Unoptimized architectures may not only negatively affect latent space quality but also increase energy consumption during training, making the models unsustainable. We conducted systematic experiments to better understand how the autoencoder architecture affects the reconstruction and latent space quality and how it can be optimized towards the encoding task as well as energy consumption. We can show that optimizing the architecture allows us to maintain the quality of a generic architecture but using 97% less data and reducing energy consumption by around 36%. We additionally observed that representing the molecules as SELFIES reduced the reconstruction performance compared to SMILES and that training with enumerated SMILES drastically improved latent space quality. Scientific Contribution: This work provides the first comprehensive systematic analysis of how choosing the autoencoder architecture affects the reconstruction performance of small molecules, the chemical information content of the latent space as well as the energy required for training. Demonstrated on the MOSES benchmarking dataset it provides first valuable insights into how autoencoders for the embedding of small molecules can be designed to optimize their utility and simultaneously become more sustainable, both in terms of energy consumption as well as the required amount of training data. All code, data and model checkpoints are made available on Zenodo (Oestreich et al. Small molecule autoencoders: architecture engineering to optimize latent space utility and sustainability. الوصف: Activity Cost and Financial Management are two variables of vital importance in livestock production. This paper aims to measure the relationship existing between these two variables within the production of beef cattle in the Coto-Coto Chilca Livestock Fair in Peru. To do this, we selected 141 ranchers from the area to give their opinions regarding the behavior of these two variables. The data were represented with the help of an Indeterminate Likert Scale, to capture the uncertainty and indeterminacy of the respondents' opinion. Survey results were compared for the two variables using a measure of neutrosophic similarities. Neutrosophic similarities are used to measure the degree of similarity between two neutrosophic sets measured in certain aspects.

الوصف: Abstract Background The challenge posed by Alcohol-Related Frequent Attenders (ARFAs) in Emergency Departments (EDs) is growing in Singapore, marked by limited engagement with conventional addiction treatment pathways. Recognizing this gap, this study aims to explore the potential benefits of Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) - an innovative, community-centered, harm-reduction strategy—in mitigating the frequency of ED visits, curbing Emergency Medical Services (EMS) calls, and uplifting health outcomes across a quartet of Singaporean healthcare institutions. Methods Employing a prospective before-and-after cohort design, this investigation targeted ARFAs aged 21 years and above, fluent in English or Mandarin. Eligibility was determined by a history of at least five ED visits in the preceding year, with no fewer than two due to alcohol-related issues. The study contrasted health outcomes of patients integrated into the ACT care model versus their experiences under the exclusive provision of standard emergency care across Hospitals A, B, C and D. Following participants for half a year post-initial assessment, the evaluation metrics encompassed socio-demographic factors, ED, and EMS engagement frequencies, along with validated health assessment tools, namely Christo Inventory for Substance-misuse Services (CISS) scores, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Loneliness scores, and Centre for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale Revised (CESD-R-10) scores. Discussion Confronted with intricate socio-economic and medical challenges, the ARFA cohort often grapples with heightened vulnerabilities in relation to alcohol misuse. Pioneering the exploration of ACT’s efficacy with ARFAs in a Singaporean context, our research is anchored in a patient-centered approach, designed to comprehensively address these multifaceted clinical profiles. While challenges, like potential high attrition rates and sporadic data collection, are anticipated, the model’s prospective contribution towards enhancing patient well-being and driving healthcare efficiencies in Singapore is substantial. Our findings have the potential to reshape healthcare strategies and policy recommendations. Trial Registration ClinicalTrials.gov, NCT 04447079. Initiated on 25 June 2020.

الوصف: Demand management of electric vehicles (EVs) in shared residential parking lots presents challenges for sustainable transportation systems. Especially, in shared parking lots where multiple EVs share the same parking space, such as residential apartments. This is challenging due to involvement of various factors such as limited number of chargers, limited capacity of transformer, and diverse driving behavior of EV owners. To address this issue, this study proposes an optimal demand management framework that addresses limited chargers, transformer capacity, and diverse driving behavior to promote sustainable EV integration. By estimating driving behavior, energy consumption, and utilizing a linear programming-based optimization model, power allocation to EVs is optimized based on multiple factors. A satisfaction index is introduced to measure the satisfaction level of the EV community, further emphasizing user-centric sustainability. Performance analysis includes factors such as power usage, charger utilization, and community satisfaction. The performance of the proposed method is compared with a conventional method and the proposed method increase the satisfaction index of the community by up to 10%. In addition, sensitivity analysis is used to explore the impact of factors like charger availability, EV penetration, and transformer capacity limits. Results show that with 3% EV penetration, satisfaction levels exceed 75%, reaching over 80% with five chargers and 6% EV penetration.

الوصف: The full deployment of sixth-generation (6G) networks is inextricably connected with a holistic network redesign able to deal with various emerging challenges, such as integration of heterogeneous technologies and devices, as well as support of latency and bandwidth demanding applications. In such a complex environment, resource optimization, and security and privacy enhancement can be quite demanding, due to the vast and diverse data generation endpoints and associated hardware elements. Therefore, efficient data collection mechanisms are needed that can be deployed at any network infrastructure. In this context, the network data analytics function (NWDAF) has already been defined in the fifth-generation (5G) architecture from Release 15 of 3GPP, that can perform data collection from various network functions (NFs). When combined with advanced machine learning (ML) techniques, a full-scale network optimization can be supported, according to traffic demands and service requirements. In addition, the collected data from NWDAF can be used for anomaly detection and thus, security and privacy enhancement. Therefore, the main goal of this paper is to present the current state-of-the-art on the role of the NWDAF towards data collection, resource optimization and security enhancement in next generation broadband networks. Furthermore, various key enabling technologies for data collection and threat mitigation in the 6G framework are identified and categorized, along with advanced ML approaches. Finally, a high level architectural approach is presented and discussed, based on the NWDAF, for efficient data collection and ML model training in large scale heterogeneous environments.
