مستخلص: In this work, the functional groups of Eurohypnum leptothallumextract (ELE) were extracted by aqueous immersion and identified by FTIR. The corrosion inhibitory effect of ELE as a natural plant corrosion inhibitor on pure iron in 0.5 mol L−1H2SO4solution was investigated by test methods such as the weight loss method, electrochemical behaviour and detection of metal surface topography. The results show that ELE has a positive inhibitory effect on the corrosion behaviour of pure iron in 0.5 mol L−1H2SO4solution, and the higher the concentration of ELE, the greater the corrosion inhibitory effect. It can still reach 83.97 % at high temperatures. The results of SEM examination and contact angle measurements show that the corrosion degree of the metal decreases significantly after the additon of ELE and that the hydrophobicity of the metal surface increases. The adsorption of ELE on the surface of pure iron tends to isothermal Langmuir adsorption and, as a mixed corrosion inhibitor, the charge transfer resistance of the system increases significantly and the capacitance value of the electrical double layer decreases significantly.

مستخلص: Stem cell-based therapy is a novel technique used to reconstruct the ocular surface of patients with limbal stem cell deficiency (LSCD). However, the reported stem cell therapies for LSCD are limited to two-dimensional (2D) culture systems, which cannot mimic the native microenvironment in which stem cells reside in vivo. Herein, an injectable photocrosslinkable hydrogel was developed based on porous gelatin methacryloyl (GelMA)/silk fibroin glycidyl methacrylate (SilMA), which encapsulated limbal stem cells (LSCs) to reconstruct ocular surfaces. The porous GelMA/SilMA hydrogels demonstrated excellent transparency and good adhesion. More importantly, this hydrogel maintained viability, supported the adhesion of encapsulated rabbit LSCs and promoted their migration in vitroin three-dimensional (3D) culture environments. Proteomic analysis confirmed that the porous GelMA/SilMA hydrogel 3D cell culture system maintained both the self-renewal and differentiation of the LSCs. Furthermore, histological analyses demonstrated that the porous GelMA/SilMA hydrogel encapsulating LSCs effectively promoted the re-epithelization of LSCD. Porous hydrogels were subjected to simplified serial cell culture operations to construct an ocular surface with a uniform cell distribution. These findings provide valuable insights into stem cell therapies and regenerative medicine for ocular surface reconstruction.

مستخلص: The present study investigated how students' attitudes toward bullying were influenced simultaneously by personal and contextual factors in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taipei. Participants included 25,338 students (15‐year‐olds, from grade 7 to 12) and 663 schools from Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taipei drawn from the Program for International Student Assessment 2018. Multilevel structural equation modeling with Bayesian estimation was conducted for data analysis. The results showed that, for personal factors, girls had stronger anti‐bullying attitudes than boys in each sample. Resilience and self‐efficacy predicted students' anti‐bullying attitudes positively and significantly in all three regions. For family contextual factors, parents' emotional support had positive effects on students' attitudes toward bullying in three regions. For school contextual factors, there was no consistent result among the three regions. School location and school belonging were positive predictors of students' anti‐bullying attitudes in Mainland China. By contrast, class size and student behavior hindering learning negatively correlated with students' anti‐bullying attitudes in Hong Kong. In Taipei, students in public schools were more likely to form anti‐bullying attitudes, and a positive association was found between the student–teacher ratio and students' attitudes toward bullying. Distinguishing the commonalities and differences in the factors influencing students' attitudes toward bullying in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taipei provides empirical evidence to understand school bullying prevention and control mechanism. Practitioner points: Girls had stronger anti‐bullying attitudes than boys, and resilience, self‐efficacy, and parents' emotional support predicted students' anti‐bullying attitudes positively and significantly in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taipei.School location and belonging were positive predictors of students' anti‐bullying attitudes in Mainland China, and students in public schools were more likely to form anti‐bullying attitudes in Taipei. Class size and student behavior hindering learning negatively correlated with students' anti‐bullying attitudes in Hong Kong. Both personal and contextual factors should be considered to improve students' anti‐bullying attitudes, which contributes to school bullying prevention and intervention. مستخلص: Currently, more than 170 modifications have been identified on RNA. Among these RNA modifications, various methylations account for two-thirds of total cases and exist on almost all RNAs. Roles of RNA modifications in cancer are garnering increasing interest. The research on m6A RNA methylation in cancer is in full swing at present. However, there are still many other popular RNA modifications involved in the regulation of gene expression post-transcriptionally besides m6A RNA methylation. In this review, we focus on several important RNA modifications including m1A, m5C, m7G, 2′-O-Me, Ψ and A-to-I editing in cancer, which will provide a new perspective on tumourigenesis by peeking into the complex regulatory network of epigenetic RNA modifications, transcript processing, and protein translation.
