الوصف: The immunization program is included in efforts to reduce morbidity, disability and death in infants and toddlers. Complete Basic Immunization Coverage in Aceh Besar District has decreased every year, atleast is still below the national target of 85%. This study aims to determine the factors associated with complete basic immunization coverage at the Baitussalam Health Center in 2022. This research was conducted using a quantitative study with a cross-sectional approach with data collection using a questionnaire and analyzed univariately to describe the distribution and proportions, as well as bivariate using Chi Square and using multivariate analysis with linear regression. Result of the study showed more than half (57.4%) of mothers did not give complete immunization to their babies. This study found that there was a relationship between the provision of complete basic immunization and the mother's employment status (p value = 0.018), level of knowledge (p value = 0.484), family support (p value = 0.000), mother's trust (p value = 0.000). The most dominant factors affecting complete basic immunization coverage at the Baitussalam are factors of knowledge, trust, the role of health workers and health cadres. مصطلحات موضوعية: COVID-19 infection, oral hygiene, oral manifestations

الوصف: COVID-19 became a pandemic because of its high-speed transmission via salivary and airborne droplet routes. Viruses can enter host cells through ACE-2 receptors in various human organs, including the oral cavity. The oral manifestations that arise include white plaque, ulceration, burning sensation, oral mucositis, depapillation of the tongue, dry mouth, halitosis, and loss of the sense of taste. Poor oral hygiene, comorbidities, decreased immunity, and stress can exacerbate these manifestations. This review study aimed to report various oral manifestations of COVID-19 related to oral hygiene. Relevant articles were identified from PubMed, ScienceDirect, Elsevier, and Google Scholar. Out of the 60 articles selected, only 36 could be reviewed. The World Health Organization recommends early detection for individuals with suspected exposure to the COVID-19 virus to control its spread, including checking for oral manifestations. Oral hygiene is an important factor affecting the manifestations of the oral cavity of COVID-19 patients, so examination of the condition of oral hygiene is recommended in the medical management of COVID-19 patients. To conclude, oral hygiene is related to the emergence of oral manifestation in COVID-19-infected patients.

الوصف: It is clearly understood that the economic disruption during the COVID-19 outbreak is causing people to lose their income and access to healthy food. Our study aims to investigate people's spending on food and how their daily expenses on cigarettes impact diet quality. We conducted a cross-sectional online survey in April, 2020 and interviews through social media. There were 180 subjects followed in this study. Analysis was conducted using chi-square. It is found that even though our subjects able to access food but their diet quality to have whole food of four food group daily is not adequate. There is significant association between food expenses on whole food and processed food to diet quality (p<0,001). While there is no significant association between smoking behaviours to diet quality (p=0,684) but the percentage of those who smoke 1 to 3 cigarettes and more than 3 cigarettes daily is larger to have poor diet quality rather than people who do not smoke at all. This study concluded household's expenses for cigarettes and food during the COVID-19 pandemic were able to explain whether diet quality is poor or good. The study suggests the government needs to impose smoking restrictions as part of COVID-19 prevention and reassure people's accessibility to nutritious food during this pandemic.

الوصف: Objectives To investigate the challenges and opportunities for implementing smoke-free areas (SFAs) within eight area categories using the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control as a framework for analysis. Design This study used qualitative methods (in-depth interviews and document reviews). All transcripts from the interviews and formal documents were coded using NVivo V.11 software and analysed using an inductive thematic analysis. Setting Banda Aceh, Indonesia. Participants Seventy-three participants were interviewed, stratified by ages (18–59 years): policymakers (n=4), SFA implementers (n=33), SFA’s non-compliance prosecutors (n=2), SFA observers (n=4), communities/respected figures (n=30); and 10 documents were reviewed. Results Barriers to the effective implementation of SFAs were identified: conflict of interests of Banda Aceh authorities in implementing SFA policies; inadequate monitoring, evaluation and implementation of SFAs among involved actors; inadequate public communication of SFAs to communities; and misunderstanding of ‘enclosed areas’ as SFAs. However, some important opportunities were identified: the Ministry of Education promotes SFA at schools; and smoking prohibition as part of sharia and other religions’ recommendations. Conclusions This research is the first study to examine SFAs to understand the challenges and opportunities for improving SFA policy implementation by interviewing various key respondents in Banda Aceh (religious leaders and respected figures). These key stakeholders’ roles are crucial to enhance the implementation of SFA policies in Banda Aceh (currently suboptimal) and other populous Muslim areas in Indonesia or other countries because smoking contradicts Islamic teachings and other religions’ tenets. Further, the findings propose policymakers and involved agencies strengthen public communication, execution, monitoring and evaluation, and enforcement of SFA policies in Aceh. Finally, the application of methods and results from this study to other local areas in ...
