    الوصف: We examined 638 Lepidoptera specimens on the territories of 13 European countries in our search for parasitoids. We collected eggs, larvae and pupae. In total, 251 Lepidoptera species were identified, belonging to 169 genera from 30 families. Of the total sample, approximately one-third (32.23%) were parasitized. In 168 samples (26.42%), we identified only one parasitoid species per host. In addition to these data, 224 plant species from 114 genera were identified, of which the vast majority were feeding plants.

    الوصف: Two hymenopteran species are reported for the Serbian fauna. Diprion similis, from the family Diprionidae, served as a host for the parasitoid wasp Monodontomerus dentipes, from the family Torymidae. The specimens were collected from Mt. Zlatibor in western Serbia. The parasitoid specimens were reared from the pupal stadium of the host D. similis.

    الوصف: In this paper, we report the generation of an ultra-sharp asymmetric resonance spectrum through Fano-like interference. This generation is accomplished by weakly coupling a high-quality factor (Q factor) Fabry–Pérot (FP) cavity and a low-Q factor FP cavity through evanescent waves. The high-Q FP cavity is formed by Sagnac loop mirrors, whilst the low-Q one is built by partially transmitting Sagnac loop reflectors. The working principle has been analytically established and numerically modelled by using temporal coupled-mode-theory (CMT), and verified using a prototype device fabricated on the 340 nm silicon-on-insulator (SOI) platform, patterned by deep ultraviolet (DUV) lithography. Pronounced asymmetric resonances with slopes up to 0.77 dB/pm have been successfully measured, which, to the best of our knowledge, is higher than the results reported in state-of-the-art devices in on-chip integrated Si photonic studies. The established theoretical analysis method can provide excellent design guidelines for devices with Fano-like resonances. The design principle can be applied to ultra-sensitive sensing, ultra-high extinction ratio switching, and more applications.

    الوصف: Gamma delta (γδ) T cells are a highly heterogeneous population of lymphocytes that exhibit innate and adaptive immune properties. Despite comprising the majority of residing lymphocytes in many organs, the role of γδ T cells in transplantation outcomes is under-researched. γδ T cells can recognise a diverse array of ligands and exert disparate effector functions. As such, they may potentially contribute to both allograft acceptance and rejection, as well as impacting on infection and post-transplant malignancy. Here, we review the current literature on the role and function of γδ T cells following solid organ and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.

    الوصف: Annual production of the sunflower seed in Serbia is between 650,000-720,000 tons. Most of this amount is used in vegetable oil industry. Abundant by-products from this processing are sunflower seed husks. Husks are usually incinerated by vegetable oil producers in order to obtain energy, used as an animal feed, or, unfortunately, landed up at some landfills. In order to promote new, added value for this abundant, renewable resource, the investigation presented in this paper was conducted. For that purpose, adsorption of Cu(II) ions from synthetic solution by unmodified sunflower seed husks was examined. ATR-FTIR was used to identify functional groups as potential active sites for Cu(II) sorption. Zeta potential values were determined to reveal the surface charge, while the cation exchange capacity (CEC) was determined to reveal the amount of exchangeable ions on its surface. ATR-FTIR analysis revealed the presence of specific functional groups (hydroxyl, carboxyl, carbonyl, and amine) responsible for removal of Cu(II) ions. The total CEC of sunflower husk is 47.74 meq/100g and Ca(II) and Mg(II) ions are in dominant exchangeable positions. The study of ion-exchange mechanism involvement was done and results confirmed that this mechanism is not the only mechanism which is involved in copper sorption. Also, the results show that the Cu(II) ions have preference for Mg(II) ions substitution. Sorption experiments were conducted in batch system. The effect of operating parameters (pH, contact time, initial concentration of Cu(II) ions and adsorbent dosage) on the adsorption capacity were investigated. The obtained experimental data were fitted by Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models. The maximum adsorption capacity for Cu(II) ions calculated from Langmuir adsorption isotherm was 34.89 mg/g which is 15 to 35% higher than the capacity that other researchers reported previously for the same material and pollutant.     الوصف: In this paper a new distributed time synchronization algorithm is proposed for lossy wireless sensor networks with noisy local clock readings and inter-node communications. The algorithm is derived in the form of two asynchronous recursions of stochastic gradient type providing estimates of the parameters used to compensate drifts and offsets of the local clocks. A special modification of the algorithm for drift compensation based on instrumental variables is introduced in the case of internal measurement noise. It is proved that the proposed algorithm provides asymptotic synchronization in the sense that all the equivalent drifts, as well as all the equivalent offsets, converge in the mean square sense and with probability one to the same random variables.
