الوصف: From a coordination chemistry perspective, we aimed to advance the knowledge of Sr/Cs separation in the scheme of spent nuclear fuel reprocessing. Based on data mining of crystal structures and deep learning architecture, we summarized and analyzed coordination chemistry properties of Sr/Cs from complex structures(ca. 3.3×104 samples) of 8 alkaline and alkaline earth elements, especially focusing on coordination bond lengths as a representative figure of merit. Applying a Bayesian optimization approach, we were able to establish a high-performing transformer model which could predict the(differential) coordinative affinities toward Sr/Cs of ligand molecules, with exceptional accuracy. As a proof-of-concept, we systematically analyzed ca. 9.1×103 ligand molecules in terms of potential coordinative selectivity toward Sr/Cs and ranked them. In addition, we also determined different contribution of various functional groups for future molecular design of ligands with selectivity. The present study presented fundamental knowledge for coordination chemistry information in the context of radiochemistry and spent nuclear fuel reprocessing, provided guidance and reference for subsequent experiments regarding Sr/Cs separation.

الوصف: BackgroundChronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a common chronic respiratory disease, and patients with COPD often experience substantially emotional difficulties, such as anxiety and depression, all of which may cause serious detriment to the prognosis of patients. As a non-pharmacological intervention in clinical practice, group mindfulness-based stress reduction therapy (MBSR) is beginning to emerge, while has rarely been studied in COPD patients with concurrent emotional difficulties.ObjectiveTo evaluate the effects of group MBSR on depression, state of mindfulness and pulmonary function in stable COPD patients, so as to provide references for the application of group MBSR in patients with COPD.MethodsA total of 97 patients with stable COPD who were followed up in the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine of Mianyang Third People's Hospital from January to October 2019 were selected as the study objects, and they were assigned into study group (n=50) and control group (n=47) by random number table method. All individuals received routine medication therapy and an 8-week health education, based on this, participants in study group partook an 8-week intervention comprising group MBSR. At the baseline, 4 weeks and 8 weeks of intervention, participants were assessed with Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS), Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire (FFMQ) and COPD Assessment Test (CAT), as well as the pulmonary function testing.ResultsThere were 41 patients in study group and 42 cases in control group completed the study. The group * time interaction was interpreted as significant between two groups for SDS, FFMQ and CAT scores (F=54.858, 86.161, 69.862, P0.05), while study group scored lower on SDS and CAT (F=12.900, 38.511, 7.797, 28.824, P

الوصف: Abstract Background Retrograde approach technique has been challenging in percutaneous coronary interventional treatment of chronic total occlusion (CTO) coronary disease. The present study endeavors to determine a novel Chinese scoring system for predicting successful collateral channels traverse via retrograde approach. Methods The demographic characteristics and angiographic characteristics of 309 CTO patient were analyzed by univariable and multivariable analysis for selecting potential predictors. And the nomogram was used to establish the scoring system. Then it was evaluated by the internal and external validation. Results The predictors of Age, Connections between collateral channels and recipient vessels, and Channel Tortuosity (ACT) were identified with univariable and multivariable analysis and employed to the ACT score system. With acceptable calibrations, the area under curve of the scoring system and the external validation were 0.826 and 0.816 respectively. Based on score, the predictors were divided into three risk categories and it showed a consistent prediction power in the validation cohort. Conclusions The novel Chinese ACT score is a reliable tool for predicting successful retrograde collateral traverse.

الوصف: Chromium-containing sludge (CCS) is a solid hazardous waste containing various heavy metals, threatening the human body and the environment. In this study, CCS was solidified/stabilized by a combined method of glutathione (GSH) prereduction of Cr(VI) and alkali-excited blast furnace slag (BFS) preparation of geopolymer/gel. To explore the prospect of glutathione treatment of solid waste and combination with solidification/stabilization technology. The appropriate dosage and initial pH value of GSH were obtained through experiments (the dosage of GSH was 0.5%, and the initial pH value was 1). The preparation parameters (content of alkali activator 13%, modulus of alkali activator 1.7, initial curing temperature 25 ℃, liquid-solid ratio 0.26) and mechanism of geopolymer/gel were studied. GSH pre-reduction technology significantly increases the maximum dosage of CCS in the solidified body, and increases the proportion of heavy metals in the residual state. The solidified product meets landfill requirements and holds promise as a building material. According to XRD, FTIR, SEM-EDS, Geopolymers/gels solidify heavy metals utilizing physical encapsulation, chemical encapsulation, charge balance, and bonding.

الوصف: The vertical structure of radar echo is crucial for understanding complex microphysical processes of clouds and precipitation, and for providing essential data support for the study of low-level wind shear and turbulence formation, evolution, and dissipation. Therefore, finding methods to improve the vertical data resolution of the existing radar network is crucial. Existing algorithms for improving image resolution usually focus on increasing the width and height of images. However, improving the vertical data resolution of weather radar requires a focus on improving the elevation angle resolution while maintaining distance resolution. To address this challenge, we propose a network for super-resolution reconstruction of weather radar echo vertical structures. The network is based on a multi-scale residual feedback network (MR-FBN) and uses new multi-scale feature residual blocks (MSRB) to effectively extract and utilize data features at different scales. The feedback network gradually generates the final high-resolution vertical structure data. In addition, we propose an elevation upsampling layer (EUL) specifically for this task, replacing the traditional image subpixel convolution layer. Experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively improve the elevation angle resolution of weather radar echo vertical structure data, providing valuable help for atmospheric detection.

الوصف: Objective To explore the dynamic changes of femur microstructure in ovariectomized osteoporosis mice at different stages. Methods Female C57 mice (8 weeks old) were randomly divided into sham-operation (Sham) and ovariectomy (OVX) groups. Each group was subdivided into 1-week, 1-month and 3-month subgroups on the basis of different postoperative time, which representeing early, middle and late menopause, respectively. The femurs were extracted for HE staining, immunohistochemistry and micro-CT analysis, and the changes in the bone microstructure of cancellous bone in the distal femurs, cortical bone in the middle femurs and the levels of osteogenic associated proteins in each group were evaluated. Results Compared with the Sham group, the bone microstructure of the OVX group showed no significant destruction at 1 week after operation, trabecula fracture and bone marrow cavity enlargement from 1 month to 3 months after operation, and significant changes in CT bone parameters BV/TV, Tb.N and Tb.Sp (P < 0.01, P < 0.001) except Tb.Th (P > 0.05). In the Sham group, the bone mass was significantly reduced until 3 months after operation compared with that in the 1-week group (P < 0.01). Bone loss in the OVX groups was worsened in a time dependent manner (P < 0.05, P < 0.01, P < 0.001). The expression level of Runx2 by immunohistochemistry was consistent with the results of micro-CT analysis. No significant differences were found in morphologic indices of cortical bone between the Sham subgroups and the OVX subgroups (P > 0.05). Conclusion Trabecular bone microarchitecture is impaired progressively after OVX operation in 8-week-old C57 mice from 1 week to 1 month, prior to cortical bone. This period can be regarded as the key time for studies on pathogenesis and prevention and treatment of osteoporosis.

الوصف: BackgroundPrevious studies have confirmed the predicted value of serum glycated albumin (GA) in atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. However, the relationship between GA and the development of in-stent restenosis (ISR) after drug-eluting stent (DES) implantation has not been verified in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS).Materials and methodsIn this study, 797 patients diagnosed with ACS who underwent re-coronary angiography more than 6 months after the first successful DES-based percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) were eventually included. Patients were categorized into two groups based on the median GA levels of 14.94%. Moreover, multivariate logistic regression analysis models and the net reclassification improvement and integrated differentiation improvement risk models were constructed to assess the relationship between the GA and DES-ISR in patients with ACS.ResultsThe GA was significantly associated with an increased risk of DES-ISR, upon adjusting for confounding factors (as nominal variate: OR 1.868, 95% CI 1.191–2.932, P = 0.007; as continuous variate: OR 1.109, 95% CI 1.040–1.183, P = 0.002). The addition of GA to a baseline risk model had an incremental effect on the predictive value for DES-ISR (AUC: GA vs. baseline model, 0.714 vs. 0.692, comparison P = 0.017; category-free net reclassification improvement (NRI) 0.080, P = 0.035; integrated discrimination improvement (IDI) 0.023, P < 0.001).ConclusionGA level was significantly associated with a high risk of DES-ISR in patients with ACS treated with PCI. Moreover, the addition of the GA to a baseline risk model has an incremental effect on the predictive potential for DES-ISR.

الوصف: The $S_8/\sigma_8$ tension in the large scale structure can be explained by decaying dark matter with an almost degenerate spectrum and small enough decay width. Here we propose the Gemini dark matter model, which contains a heavy mother particle $\chi_3$ and two twins $\chi_{1/2}$ which are almost degenerate in mass and are produced at the same time. The dark sector is charged under the same Froggatt-Nielsen symmetry that can explain the hierarchy of the Standard model Yukawa couplings. The slightly heavier $\chi_2$ decays into $\chi_1$ and the axionic component of the flavon, which washes out the small scale structure and resolves $S_8/\sigma_8$ tension. We present the production mechanism of Gemini dark matter and viable parameter regions. We find that despite the preferred dark matter mass being $\mathcal{O}(1)$--$\mathcal{O}(100)$ keV, they constitute cold dark matter. The Gemini dark matter model predicts an abundance of dark radiation that will be probed in future measurements of the CMB.

الوصف: We introduce a class of dg-algebras which generalize the classical Brauer graph algebras. They are constructed from mixed-angulations of surfaces and often admit a (relative) Calabi--Yau structure. We discovered these algebras through two very distinct routes, one involving perverse schobers whose stalks are cyclic quotients of the derived categories of relative Ginzburg algebras, and another involving deformations of partially wrapped Fukaya categories of surfaces. Applying the results of our previous work arXiv:2303.18249, we describe the spaces of stability conditions on the derived categories of these algebras in terms of spaces of quadratic differentials.
