الوصف: Cette proposition de communication s’inscrit dans une recherche postdoctorale qui vise à combler les lacunes de l’analyse discursive des textes sur la migration. En analysant le discours du retour induit par l’État (Kosh, 2014), l’objectif est d’étudier comment la série lexicale de termes utilisant un préfixe exprimant la répétition ou l’intensité sert les objectifs des politiques extérieures européennes. الوصف: This chapter provides an illustrated discussion of seven methodological considerations for researchers setting up a critical discourse study (CDS) of media and information literacy (MIL) projects. These considerations relate to the construction of a CDS-informed problematic (how to choose an appropriate CDS approach; how to identify relevant discourses), as well as to matters of data collection (how to select cases; how to draw boundaries around discourses) and data analysis (how to choose relevant units of analysis; why coding might be useful; how to analyze the political and ideological dimensions of discourse). This chapter illustrates the implications of decisions concerning each consideration with reference to a study of the MIL project of the European Association for Viewers Interests (EAVI). In doing so, the authors do not seek to (de)legitimize EAVI’s project but to demonstrate how CDS allows researchers to render the political and ideological dimensions of MIL discourses explicit, enabling democratic debates about the discourses that shape our world. ; info:eu-repo/semantics/published

الوصف: Par l’analyse de conflits locaux induits par trois projets d’infrastructures pensés dans le cadre d’un paradigme créatif du développement socio-économique, cet article s’attache aux discours des acteurs et au cadre idéologique au sein duquel ils s’inscrivent pour caractériser les représentations qu’ont ces acteurs du territoire et des économies de la culture et de la création. Nous montrons que ces projets et les modalités de leur soutien par les décideurs publics tendent à mobiliser, parmi d’autres, des acteurs culturels locaux. Ces phénomènes induisent une politisation des projets en questionnant les formes de leurs attachements (ou leur absence) à l’économie locale de la création. ; info:eu-repo/semantics/published

الوصف: This article focuses on denominations that are used to name people on the move in Belgian mediadiscourse, but that are not specifically related to migration. It specifically studies the nominalsyntagms formed with the noun people (people on the run, people in need) and words of kinship(mother, brother). A Discursive Semantics analysis implemented through Corpus Linguisticsis run on a corpus of Belgian news items issued from March 2015 to July 2017. The corpusgathers 13,391 newspaper articles and 3490 TV news items (representing 7,637,986 words). Themention of words of kinship and designations formed with people shows that there is a willingnessto humanise media discourses on migration. However, although their mention encourages ahumanitarian vision of people on the move, these usually positively connotated designationsalso foster a vision of people on the move as victims and does not discourage the mention ofcontroversial denominations. ; info:eu-repo/semantics/published

الوصف: La Usina Cultural (UC) es un espacio cultural universitario transdisciplinario, de visibilización de las expresiones culturales tangibles e intangibles de la comunidad universitaria, los artistas locales, emergentes y con trayectoria y el patrimonio cultural inmaterial. Depende de la Universidad Nacional de Villa María (UNVM), en trabajo conjunto con el municipio local. Propiciar la visibilidad del patrimonio cultural y su difusión en la UC implica diseñar, planificar y gestionar distintas acciones de enunciación destinadas a comunicar sentidos y valores, sociales, políticos y culturales. Este proceso a su vez, acompaña el propósito institucional y presenta criterios y estrategias transversales al espacio citado, en vínculo permanente con la comunidad en la que está inserto. Las tres dimensiones que intervienen en este proceso son Educomunicativa, Tecnológica e Interactiva. Están estrechamente relacionadas y propician un escenario de diálogo, al mismo tiempo que generan una mayor democratización de grupos, organizaciones y comunidades (Sierra, 2000). En ese marco, las diferentes estrategias presentadas para comunicar la imagen, las actividades y la identidad del espacio, posicionaron a la UC en la escena local y regional como un espacio que no sólo es reconocido por su historicidad y por su importancia arquitectónica, sino también por la dotación de nuevos sentidos y significaciones en torno a la visibilización de la cultura viva. Esto ha permitido generar una sinergia entre cultura, conocimiento, y otorgar sentido de pertenencia. الوصف: This paper investigates how far right actors using the term ‘cultural warfare’ imagine activists and CSO’s. Drawing on post-foundational discourse theory, it presents a critical discourse study of articles published in Flemish nationalist online media, focusing on their metapolitical implications. In metapolitical conflict, imaginaries of what politics is and should be clash. Activism is understood as a form of political engagement where actors (re)imagine, (re)articulate and (re-)negotiate social relationships and different forms of capital, through imagined collective action. Flemish nationalist culture war discourse is often articulated with(in) controversies over activist and/or CSO practices. It problematizes subsidies for artistic and minority CSO’s, the ideological neutrality of higher education, and the school strikes of Youth for Climate. This discourse is articualted with(in) political imaginaries delegitimizing activist and CSO practices.
