In the experiment, the research team achieved an enhanced sensitivity for gravitational wave detection by feeding a Michelson interferometer. By feeding the interferometer with squeezed light, the team achieved improved sensitivity for measuring low-frequency gravitational waves, along with high broadband sensitivity.
