The article discusses a study on the use of data from the "Global Burden of Diseases, Injuries, and Risk Factors Study 2010 (GBD 2010) to analyze health conditions in Great Britain. It describes British health loss patterns and the top preventable risks behind some of the patterns. Ways in which British health outcomes compare with comparable countries in 1990 and 2010 are addressed. Great Britain's performance in terms of premature mortality is also cited. |
