The article focuses on the assassination of King Henry III of France in 1589, with respect to the themes of tyranny and tyrannicide as they relate to the Catholic Church's involvement in the assassination. The author aims to analyze the various methods used by the Catholic League of France, also known as the Holy League, to understand and defeat the tyranny France was experiencing at the hand of Henry III.
