The article presents an analysis on the documentary stamp tax Florida. It highlights the case of Crescent Miami Center LLC v. Florida Department of Revenue wherein the court decision resulted to the proliferation of transaction planning that inhibits the imposition of deed tax. Moreover, the statutory revisions in 2007 and 2009 created requirements that deal with the conveyance of real estate in the state. |
