This paper highlights work on the mobilization and conservation of plant genetic resources of Azerbaijan. It gives a summary of the activities of the National Genebank at the Genetic Resources Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, establishment of the Information Center, and development of a unified information system with a centralized database for the plant genetic resources of Azerbaijan.
