مستخلص: The article focuses on clinical course of psoriasis after excision of an underlying malignancy, and complete remission of psoriasis on excision of an underlying carcinoma. There are several possible explanations why psoriatic lesions resolve completely after the excision of the thyroid carcinoma. One possibility is that the treatment modalities used were incidentally responsible for the resolution of the patient's psoriasis. A second possibility is that tumor cells may produce growth factors and cytokines with potent stimulatory effects on epidermal keratinocytes.
