The article sequences ten additional taxa of Schismatoglottideae Alliance, tribes Schismatoglottideae, Cryptocoryneae and Philonotieae: Araceae, including two extra-Bornean Piptospatha species, and the type species of Hottarum, which were unavailable in a previous study. The placement of the additional taxa within Schismatoglottideae were determined. It also investigates incidents of homoplasy or apomorphic status of morphologies presumed significant in the evolution of rheophytism. |
