The article presents information on the objectives and the modifications of the Spanish law, which sought to provide better protection for Intellectual Property rights in Spain. The Law was published in the Spanish Official Gazette, and provides regulations for the enforcement related to different Community regulations. The Act requires various modifications of the Spanish laws including Spain's Criminal law, Copyright Act, Patent Act, and Trade Mark Act. The inclusion of all the costs that an Intellectual Property owner incurs within the damages petition is an important objective of the new regulation. |
