Objective Identify what is the knowledge of the professional nurses for taking care adequately of removal ostomies. Methodology he next integrative literature review study is developed using the PICO strategy for the consolidation of the investigation's question, in addition to 6 inclusion criteria and 3 of exclusion. This for consolidating a database with 28 articles among the 210 documents found in the entire process of searching. Results The investigation allowed the identification of the most common weaknesses and shortcomings made in the care of ostomized patients. Through the discussion of the findings, it is identified the adequate knowledge required in the handling of removal ostomies. This procedure is composed of 3 pillars: the training, the professional doing, and the educational training. Conclusions In this way, the professional nurses will be able to take into account some key aspects at the time of developing an effective self care plan. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |

Objetivo Identificar cual es el conocimiento de los profesionales de enfermería para el adecuado cuidado de las ostomías de eliminación. Metodología Se desarrolla el presente estudio de revisión integrativa de literatura, utilizando la estrategia PICO para la consolidación de la pregunta de investigación, además de 6 criterios de inclusión y 3 de exclusión para consolidar una base de datos con 28 artículos de 210 encontrados en todo el proceso de búsqueda. Resultados Permitió la identificación de las debilidades y falencias más comunes en el cuidado de pacientes ostomizados. A través de la discusión de los resultados se identifica el conocimiento adecuado requerido en el manejo de ostomías de eliminación, el cual se compone de tres áreas o pilares, La formación, El hacer profesional y La orientación educativa. Conclusiones De esta manera, los profesionales de enfermería podrán tener en cuenta algunos aspectos claves a la hora de desarrollar un plan de autocuidado eficaz. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
