The article reports on a study which examines the efficacy of immunomodulating agent lenalidomide in the management of patients with multiple myeloma (MM) requiring dialysis in Spain. A total of 15 patients with MM and severe renal impairment requiring dialysis and receiving lenalidomide-based therapy were the subject of the study. Findings of the study revealed that lenalidomide-based therapy is associated with a high response rate and a long duration of response. |
