The article presents a medical case on a novel haemorrhagic hepatosis in young commercial guinea fowl. Histological examination of the livers of birds affected by the haemorrhagic hepatosis revealed both circulatory and hepatocellular changes. In sacrificed birds from a flock affected by the condition, the liver showed no gross lesions, but some areas of hepatocellular degeneration and reticulin disarrangement were observed histologically. |
