The article focuses on the need for the improvement of the presence of women in mass media. It says that the objective of ensuring a better representation of women in the media can be achieved by training the media professionals in gender perspective. Moreover, the gender toolkit for journalists and universities developed by the Audiovisual Council of Catalonia, the Catalan Women's Institute, and the Journalists Association of Catalonia is also discussed. |
