مستخلص: The article presents a study of the associations between lipids and organochlorine (OC) compounds in the muscle tissue and eggs of siscowet (Salvelinus namaycush siscowet) in Lake Superior. It uses automated gel permeation chromatography (GPC) to separate lipids from polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). Results support the hypothesis that the concentrations OC in salmonine eggs are influenced and can be detected from the concentrations of OC compounds in the somatic tissue of gravid fish.
