| الوصف: | Food and nutritional insecurity can affect anyone, but there are more vulnerable groups. The objective of the article was to analyze whether there is a relationship between food and nutritional insecurity and gender identity in a public university. A cross-sectional study was conducted with 1,336 students between November and December 2020. An online questionnaire was used to obtain answers about socioeconomic and demographic information, health status, weight, and height. To assess food security, the short version of the Brazilian Food and Nutritional Insecurity Scale (EBIA) was applied. The statistical analysis was performed with the Chi-square test. The results show that 68.8% of students with transgender and non-binary identification were food insecure during the COVID-19 pandemic, compared to 42.0% cisgender students, indicating a relationship between food insecurity and gender identity. It is emphasizes the importance of more studies with this population for the elaboration of effective public policies. ; Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação) ; A insegurança alimentar e nutricional pode afetar qualquer pessoa, porém existem grupos mais vulneráveis. O objetivo do artigo foi analisar se há relação entre insegurança alimentar e nutricional e identidade de gênero, em uma universidade pública. Foi realizado estudo transversal, com 1.336 estudantes, entre os meses de novembro e dezembro de 2020. Utilizou-se questionário online para obter respostas sobre as informações socioeconômicas e demográficas, situação de saúde, peso e altura. Para avaliar a segurança alimentar foi aplicado a versão curta da Escala Brasileira de Insegurança Alimentar e Nutricional (EBIA). A análise estatística foi feita com o teste Qui-quadrado. Os resultados demonstram que 68,8% dos estudantes com identificação transgênero e não binário estavam em situação de insegurança alimentar durante a pandemia de COVID-19, em comparação a 42,0% estudantes cisgênero, indicando relação entre insegurança alimentar e identidade de gênero. ... |
