Case studies are presented of 7-year-old Caucasian girl, 3-year-old White male, and 16-year-old White male with neoplastic inflammation. Symptoms included bone pain, fever, and lymphadenopathy, and weight loss, and the diagnosis of malignancy was pursued after failed treatment of a suspected infection. Cases showed elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and C-reactive protein. |
