The article discusses Cyprian paradigm of strict organizational unity, denominationalism and church unity. It considers the outlook on denominationalism taken by some progressive evangelicals. The author explains the reason behind the tendency of Western Christians to think in terms of unity that is primarily structure. He asserts that no other religions can match the intentional structural pluriformity of Christian denominationalism. |
