The article presents case studies related to clinical application of complement biomarkers in the diagnosis and treatment of acute thrombotic microangiopathies. It reflects on case studies of three patients including a 58-year-old male with a history of hyperlipidemia, a 52-year-old female with a history of hypertension, diabetes mellitus, systemic lupus erythematosus and asthma, and a 51-year-old female, presented with fever and cough. |
