مستخلص: Dear Editor, Veno-occlusive disease (VOD), also called as sinusoidal obstruction syndrome, is a potentially life-threatening complication of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and commonly associated with high-intensity chemotherapies. She underwent remission induction therapy on the LALA87 protocol [[7]], which resulted in a first complete remission (CR1), followed by consolidation therapy and maintenance therapy.
