The article presents multiple case study of 6-year-old girl and 5-year-old girl detected with diabetes while undergoing evaluation evaluation for failure to gain weight and transaminitis respectively. In both cases children were having Lipodystrophy which is characterized by loss or abnormal distribution of body fat, and is associated with insulin resistance and resultant abnormal glucose homeostasis. |
