Currently the world is going through a global health crisis, which disrupts the economy of the countries affected by the pandemic called Covid-19. Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) are a sector that is strongly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, since by not generating income periodically, their liquidity is considerably declining. The review of international experiences for the classification of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Latin America indicates a high variability in terms of the number of criteria used (or a combination thereof), the ranges to define the business size and the productive sector in which they operate. The study and analysis of the socioeconomic information that small and medium-sized companies are going through within the Manabí canton will help in favor of the economic reactivation of the Manabí. ; En la actualidad el mundo atraviesa una crisis sanitaria mundial, la cual perturba la economía de los países afectados por la pandemia denominada Covid-19. Las micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas (MIPYMES) son un sector que se ve fuertemente afectado por la pandemia del Covid-19, pues al no generar ingresos periódicamente está declinando considerablemente su liquidez. La revisión de experiencias internacionales para la clasificación de las micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas (MIPYMES) en América Latina indican una alta variabilidad en términos del número de criterios empleados (o combinación de los mismos), los rangos para definir el tamaño empresarial y el sector productivo en el que operan. El estudio y análisis de la información socioeconómica que están atravesando las pequeñas y medianas empresas dentro de la zona norte de Manabí ayudará en pro de la reactivación económica del sector. |
