Often, some outcome-measure instruments have insufficient validation and little input from patients and/or clinicians, which makes the results from different trials even more challenging to interpret and compare. Clinical trials in dermatology are moving at a rapid pace; however, many trials are lacking consistency in terms of "what to measure" and "how to measure" it. A fundamental doctrine for C3 work is that disease measures and outcomes must be patient centred, and, in fact, must have direct input from patients. [Extracted from the article] |
