(3) The values of L and &,$&, were determined for dimethylvinylethynyl oarbinol. (4) It is shown that the polymerizability increases with increase in the size of the alkyl grouti in the monomer. (5) It was found that fhe anomaly in the order of polymerizabilities and the absence of the gel effect up to high degrees of conversion are associated with the occurrence of hydrogen bonding.
