مستخلص: This article reports a case study on elastosis perforans serpiginosa (EPS) with simultaneous onset in two sisters. EPS is a rare cutaneous connective tissue disorder, characterized by a thickened elastic fiber extrusion through narrow epidermal channels. It mainly affects young people and both sexes are involved, but with a marked preference for men. The light microscopic findings show increased numbers of thickened elastic fibers in the papillary dermis, which are extruded through narrow epidermal channels losing their staining properties. With electron microscopy, the D-penicillamnie induced type shows characteristic "lumpy-bumpy" buddings, which allow its differentiation.
