The article presents a case study of a of a 55-year-old patient who was presented with a solitary cystic melanoma brain metastasis who later developed a hemiparesis and a facial nerve paresis. It discusses the cytological evaluation of the cyst fluid which revealed the presence of melanoma cells. It also mentions the use of surgical drainage of the cystic brain metastasis followed by radiotherapy and targeted therapy. |
