The article describes a case of polyneuritis equi (PNE) in an eight-year-old Kentucky Mountain Saddle gelding. It relates the tail rubbing and dysuria observed in the horse. It provides an overview of the abnormalities found in the horse by clinical laboratory examinations. It describes the outcome of the antemortem biopsy of the left sacrocaudalis dorsalis lateralis muscle performed in the horse. |
