The article reports that clinical pathology and laboratory organizations are urging the U.S. Congress to increase the 2007 budget for Title VII health profession programs. These include allied health programs that support the training of medical laboratory technicians and medical technologists. The organizations expect to provide enough funding to get the 2007 Title VII appropriation that is at least the 2005 level and restore the allied health account in more than $11 million mark. |
