الوصف: A lower limit for the value of the dipole moment of superoxide dismutase (SOD) is calculated to be 485 Debye. This limit follows from the observation that the rate constant of the reaction between superoxide (O − 2 ) and SOD decreases upon increasing the ionic strength, and the fact that at pH > 5 SOD has a net negative charge.
