مستخلص: The article focuses on the medical examination of a woman with the problem of a white papular eruption over the neck of 6 years duration. Clinical examination revealed 30 to 40 pale, nonconfluent papules, evenly distributed over the back and sides of the neck. They were smooth nonfollicular, firm, and just palpable. The elastic pattern was normal. No amyloid deposits were observed. In this case, the clinical findings could point to storage disease, particularly lichen amyloidosus and papular mucinosus, but the histologic features were not relevant and led the physicians to consider the diagnosis of white fibrous papulosis of the neck.
