A case study is presented of a 67-year-old male patient being treated for end-stage renale failure through hemodialysis who presented with a recurrent thoracic central vein obstruction. It states that after a venous stent and balloon angioplasty was used to treat an initial total occlusion of the superior vena cava, he later twice suffered distal stent deformation and restenosis. It comments on the use of interwoven stents in treating complex thoracic central vein obstruction restenosis. |
