الوصف: Pituitary metastasis is a rare event, and the pituitary gland is an uncommonly involved location in patients with intracranial metastases as it accounts for only approximately 2% of malignant metastases. Here, the authors present the 18F-FDG PET study of a very rare case of relapsed non-small cell lung cancer, locally and with 1 pituitary metastasis, in a 75-year-old White woman with asthenia and diabetes insipidus. 18F-FDG PET and cerebral MRI were performed to guide the therapeutic strategy due to an atypical pituitary high FDG avidity.
