مستخلص: In this article, several readers respond to a question about a guest who'd undergone gastric bypass surgery and wanted to order a kids' meal from a Virginia restaurant because the portion was smaller. Readers who were mainly into restaurant business were invited to answer the question of whether or not the proprietor should sell a reduced-price children's meal to adults, and there by forego the sale of a full-priced entree. One of the readers said that the incidence of adults ordering from the children's menu is high enough to justify the awkward argument at the table. The amount one would save just doesn't balance out the potential ill will. The reader also said that one has children's menu because one wants to attract families. To split hairs about the qualifying age is stepping over dollars to pick up dimes. Another reader wrote that he has seen several of his guests come in to dine with a card that states they have had a surgery that prohibits them from eating full portions. He informed that his restaurant has a buffet with an option of purchasing an entree and getting the buffet at no extra charge. He also added that he don't feel that he is being cheated by giving these people a kids' price.
