مستخلص: PbTiO3 films were deposited on (100) Si, (100) MgO and (100) SrTiO3 single crystal plates by a solgel process. Whereas the films deposited on Si and MgO substrates were randomly oriented and polycrystalline. The (001) oriented thin films with thickness of 0.5 to 1.0 μm were grown on the SrTiO3 single crystal using a multilayer spinning technique and calcining at 600d`C for 2 hrs. The orientation ratio of (001) and (101) is about 98%, and the average grain size is 0.2 μm.
