مستخلص: A recent study conducted at the University Hospital of Lyon in France has explored the antimicrobial properties of glycolic extracts from Pfaffia and Rosemary plants. The study evaluated the extracts' effectiveness against various skin pathogens, including S. aureus, S. epidermidis, and C. acnes, both in planktonic and biofilm forms. The results showed that the combination of the extracts demonstrated antimicrobial activity and reduced the biofilm model by over 90%. Furthermore, the extracts were found to be biocompatible with human keratinocytes. This research provides new insights into the potential use of these plant extracts in promoting cutaneous asepsis.
