مستخلص: The article discusses research on putting to practice the Nutrient-Rich Food (NRF) Index as a guideline for improving the dietary selections of Americans. The My5 NRF was developed as a tool based on the four guiding principles including layer information, connecting the touch points and teaching through experience. Conclusions indicated the key findings about consumers who have a more complex approach in the way they choose food, the Food Decision Cycle describing the food decision of consumers and the improvement of diet quality.
