The mechanisms of occupational asthma are not completely knowen. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of an antioxidant substance, Trolox, on the histipathological changes associated to an experimental mice Toluene-2,4-diisocyanate (TDI)-induced asthma. The results showed that by reducing oxidative stress, Trolox reduced the inflammatory infiltrate in the peribronchial and perivascular regions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
