الوصف: In this study, we obtained two kinds of Wirtinger type q-inequalities on quantum calculus. Then, we proved a more general Wirtinger type q-integral inequality. With all these, we obtained classical results for q -> 1(-). WOS:000670389600001 2-s2.0-85109155133

الوصف: IntroductionSialolithiasis remains a clinical problem with unclear etiopathogenesis, lack of prevention methods and only surgical treatment.Materials and MethodsAn ultrastructure examination of submandibular sialoliths obtained from patients with chronic sialolithiasis was conducted using a scanning electron microscope and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.ResultsBased on the results, we divided sialoliths into three types: calcified (CAL), organic/lipid (LIP) and mixed (MIX). The core structure of the CAL and MIX is very similar. The core of the LIP has a prevalence of organic components. The intermediate layers’ structure of the CAL is different from LIP and MIX. In LIP and MIX, the organic component begins to increase in intermediate layers rapidly. The structure of the superficial layers for all types of sialoliths is similar.ConclusionsWe introduced a new classification of the submandibular salivary gland stones. Based on the results, it can be said that sialoliths type CAL and LIP have their separate path of origin and development, while MIX is formed as CAL stone, and the further pathway of their growth passes as LIP stones. Organic components was much more than inorganic in all layers of salivary gland stones, which highly prevents their dissolution in the patient’s salivary gland duct.

الوصف: During the treatment of periodontitis, removal of dental calculus is essential but still tricky despite developments of several imaging modalities. In this research, we propose a novel approach to provide an intuitive guidance, to automatically detect the present of subgingival calculus, and to identify the site of the lesion in optical coherence tomography images based on convolutional neural network model and the class activation maps technique. Our result shows good visualizations of dental calculus both in B‐scan and in volumetric view. We believe the improvement can break down the technical barrier and finally facilitate the prevalence of dental optical coherence tomography.

الوصف: Objective To clarify the clinical and laboratory characteristics of nephrolithiasis in gout by computed tomography (CT). Methods In 350 gout patients, unenhanced CT was performed at the 1st visit to hospital. Calculus density spots exceeding 1 mm in diameter with a CT value >120 Hounsfield units in the kidneys were defined as kidney stones. The association between laterality and the number of stones was investigated in each stone carrier. The 350 patients were classified into three groups (bilateral, unilateral and non‐stone carriers). Then serum urate (Sua), renal function, uric acid metabolism, and the prevalence of metabolic syndrome (Mets) were compared among these groups by the Tukey‐Kramer test or Fisher's exact test. Results Kidney stone(s) were detected in 108 (31%) of the 350 patients (bilateral in 58 and unilateral in 50). In 64 of the 108 patients (59%), there was no history of urolithiasis. Sua, serum creatinine and uric acid clearance were significantly higher (P = 0.001, P
