الوصف: In this work, we studied the phenomena of charge transport, in a temperature range from 27 to 80 °C,by measuring and studying of the evolution of the surface potential decay of a corona charged PI film.The potential decay and the charge current measurements have shown that the phenomena governing the charge transport in the PI are thermally activated with the increase of the sample temperature. The absence of lateral spreading in the surface potential profile confirms the volume injection of deposited charges in the PI films. The trapped charge density results have shown that the sample temperature can affect the trapped charge density as well as the trap distribution in the material volume. These experimental results have allowed us to propose a mathematical model that simulates the kinetics of surface potential decay at different temperatures. Validation of the developed model is examined by comparing simulated results of surface potential decay with experimental results.
