| الوصف: | Los residuos hospitalarios que se generan en la Unidad de Cuidado Animal, ubicada en la ciudad de Bogotá, requieren de una adecuada gestión que involucre el componente externo e interno. El objetivo de este estudio es diseñar una propuesta para estructurar el plan de gestión de los residuos hospitalarios generados en la unidad, para prevenir y mitigar posibles problemáticas relacionadas con la salud ambiental y de esta manera contribuir a la mejora de la gestión ambiental de la unidad. Para ello se buscó hacer un monitoreo del conocimiento que tienen los trabajadores con respecto al manejo de residuos hospitalarios y una caracterización de los mismos teniendo en cuenta el manual para la gestión integral de residuos generados en la atención de salud y otras actividades, considerando sus diferentes áreas y los tipos de residuos que se producen allí. ; The hospital solid waste generated in the Animal Care Unit, located in the city of Bogotá, requires adequate management that involves an external and internal component. The objective of this study is to generate a proposal to structure the management plan of hospital solid waste generated in the unit, to prevent and mitigate possible problems related to environmental health and thus contribute to the improvement of the environmental management of the unity. Therefore, is necessary to test the employer’s knowlegment about hospital waste management and, taking into account the manual for the integral management of waste generated in health care and other activities, considering their different areas and the types of waste generated there. |
